When heavy, threatening clouds are forming, those of you who do not have a garage often have to leave their car parked outside on a private parking space. And if it starts to hail heavily, then everyone will be hoping that their car will not be damaged. Premium material quality for ideal hail protection

The hail protector cover is made of a particularly high quality hybrid foam that has been specially developed and patented. The foam layer is approximately 7 mm thick and ensures optimum hail impact absorption and puncture protection. The Premium Hybrid hail protector cover has been tested for its hail protection effectiveness under controlled conditions by simulated hailstone impact using a drop test. This consisted of dropping steel balls of 3 differing weights from varying heights onto a car bonnet fitted with a hail protector cover. The effect of the impact of the steel balls was then verified visually based on the dents formed in the car bonnet. The test results showed that the Premium Hybrid hail protector cover provides protection from hailstones up to a size of approx. 22,71 mm in diameter with an impact velocity of 70km/h.  In total the cover has a thickness of about 8 mm. On the inside, a fleece layer is soft on the paintwork, while the outer layer is made of water-repellent material. In addition, the side material is also water-repellent and coated in silver colour. There are 4 reflectors attached to the outside as well as red fluorescent tapes for increased visibility.

Easy mounting

The hail protector cover is manufactured in five different sizes and can be relatively simply pulled over the vehicle due to the elasticated seams. The hail protector cover is fastened under the car by a snap fastener to prevent it from being blown away. The hail protector cover must only be used on parked vehicles on areas off the public roads and should be removed immediately after the storm is over. Please note that condensation and moisture can form under the cover if it rains heavily for a long time and the air is very damp or the ground very wet. Condensation can also form under the cover when temperatures fluctuate strongly. This happens regardless of whether the cover is waterproof or not. It is therefore all the more important to regularly remove the protector cover from the car and ventilate and dry it.

• How is the hail protection cover attached?
  Attach the cover to the underside of the car with the sewn-in arrow pointing forwards, using the snap fasteners and firmly pull the straps.
  
• Why should the hail protection cover be removed after a thunderstorm?
  If the cover remains on the vehicle for a prolonged period of time, moisture can form underneath, which can significantly reduce the lifetime of the cover. We recommend removing the cover after the thunderstorm has passed and drying it thoroughly before using it again.
  

Please note: Our hail protection covers are not UV-resistant. Direct UV radiation damages the cover and reduces the lifetime of the cover. Therefore, please remove it after use and do not leave it on the vehicle permanently!
